Week 9: Neighborhood consultation with Streetwise

The design brief stated: The park must be usable by all segments of the local community. Thus, the schoolchildren had to talk to the other people in the neighborhood about their wishes for the park as well.

In order to assist the schoolchildren in collecting information on the ideas of residents in the area, gatherings were organized with specific user groups such as mothers with small children, Football teams, the elderly, young girls and so on. The Beeldleveranciers (Amsterdam based quick sketch artists) helped to draw up ideas during these meetings.
